Budibadaga Rangasandra tanda residents living in Punajanoor forest area of Chamarajanagar district were using forest water. But the forest department has put break by erecting solar fences at the end of residential and forest area declaring it as the tiger descents protected area. As a result of this, people cannot enter the area as forest officials have locked the fence gates. Now they do not have the basic facility of getting drinking water.

By seeing all these developments, Girijan, soliga and lambani community members will be forced to leave their forests one day or the other.
