Chamarajanagara: The parents of minor girl alleged that police have not yet arrested the accused under POCSO despite FIR
registered against them. It is said that a minor girl in Honakanapura in Gundlupet Taluk in the District was sexually harassed by Forest Department guard Shivanna Nayaka, Morarji Residential School watchman Javara Nayaka, Physical Education Director Harish and Nagaraju on December 6 while the girl was returning from school.

The parents of the girl said that she filed a complaint in Chamarajanagara Women Police Station on December 9 itself. She alleged
that police are dilly-dallying to arrest the serious offence accused since they are influential. She alleged that the police were protecting them instead taking action.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sundar Raj said that both the parties filed complaint and counter complaint. We will initiate action soon, he added.
