Mysuru: Until and unless Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is in power there is no opportunity for honest officers to discharge duty honestly, said BJP leader and former district in-charge minister Shobha Karandlaje.
Addressing media persons at Press Club here on Friday she alleged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was not allowing bureaucrats to function transparently, abiding by the constitutional principles. Citing DySP Ganapathy’s death and D K Ravi death case, she pointed that Bengaluru Development minister K J George’s name was noticed in both horrific cases but still to everyone’s surprise CM Siddaramaiah is supporting him. She opined that the CM was doing so only to impress Congress high-command.
Expressing their opinion on the CBI probe, which the state government has been procrastinating, Karandalaje said that till the evidences are not destroyed, the government will not hand over the case to the CBI.
