Mysuru : Darpan Jain, commissioner for Industrial Development and Directorate of Industries and Commerce Bengaluru will replace K B Shivakumar as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Mysuru.
Shivakumar had assumed the charge from the then DC D. Randeep on March 13.
Shivakumar has been trasnferred in late night orders issued on April 17.
Darpan Jain, a native of Haryana, belongs to 2001 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) batch and is an M. Tech graduate in mechanical engineering.
Meanwhile, D. Randeep took charge as DC of Hassan on Tuesday, April 17. Following a CAT order upholding the State government’s order transferring former DC Rohini Sindhuri, Mr. Randeep reached Hassan around 5.30 p.m. and took charge.
