Mysuru: Political parties in the state are not leaving any stone unturned to obtain support. Star campaigners from different parts of the country are busy campaigning braving summer heat to garner support for the candidates in the fray. Women too aren’t lagging behind!

Chamundeshwari Constituency in Mysuru witnessed a woman seeking votes for her father-in-law on May 2. She is none other than Smitha, wife of Rakesh Siddaramaiah, elder son of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who died two years ago. Smitha, sporting a smile on her face mingled with the voters freely in Giridarshini Layout requesting them to support Siddaramaiah.

No other woman from CM’s family has appeared in public till date.

Smitha’s entry might bolster CM’s chances in Chamundeshwari Constituency where a nail biting contest is on the cards.
