A devastating road mishap in Mysuru, Karnataka, on July 6 claimed the lives of two motorcyclists in a shocking high-speed crash captured by CCTV cameras.
According to authorities, a Hayabusa superbike, allegedly travelling at an extremely high velocity, collided forcefully with a Zomato delivery motorcycle. The delivery executive, identified as Kartik, was killed instantly due to the sheer impact of the collision.
The Hayabusa’s rider, Syed Saroon, hailing from Chamarajanagar, suffered severe burn injuries when his powerful bike burst into flames moments after the crash. Despite attempts to save him, he later died from the critical injuries sustained in the fire.
Eyewitnesses reported that the superbike appeared to be overspeeding along the stretch moments before it slammed into the delivery rider’s vehicle. The chilling CCTV footage shows the collision’s magnitude, highlighting the dangers of reckless riding on public roads.
Officials at the Narasimharaja (NR) Traffic Police Station have officially recorded a case related to the accident. Investigators are examining the video evidence and gathering eyewitness accounts to establish a clear timeline and the factors contributing to this fatal incident.
