Group threatens, robs lawyer; real estate involved?

Mysuru: A group of unidentified youth robbed a lawyer and escaped with important documents and cash worth Rs 50,000 near Laxmipuram First cross. Four persons reportedly stormed into the lawyer’s office and threatened him before fleeing from the spot.
The incident took place at an office belonging to Subramanya and Sudarshan on Sunday. A complaint has been registered at Laxmipuram police station and investigation is underway.

Speaking about the incident the lawyer said, “On Sunday evening I was in my office. Sudarshan could not come to office as he was busy. At around 9.30 pm, a group of five young boys stormed into our office and inquired about Subramanya. One of the accused threatened me with his revolver and they checked into my documents and escaped with few documents and also stole Rs 50,000 kept in the locker”

“After 20 minutes I informed police. I had a few cases involving real estate business. I suspect that they might have involved in the crime. I have informed about it to the police and urge them to nab the culprits at the earliest”, he said.
