Kushalnagar: Three youngsters died on the spot when the Baleno car in which they were travelling lost control and hit a road divider during wee hours of Sunday, October 16 near Basavanahali in Kushalanagar. The car was dragged to a distance of 300 meters after it hit the road divider and finally toppled causing grievous injuries to three other youth inside the car.
Nandish, aged 19, Chandru, aged 18,and Chethan, aged 19 , all residents of KG Koppal in Mysuru are the deceased. Grievously injured Pratap, Shivakumar and Suhas were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred when the youth were on their way to Mysuru from Madikeri in Maruti Baleno Car bearing registration number KA 04 MC 7805. The driver of speeding car lost control and hit the road divider.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and immediately shifted the injured to the hospital in Mysuru.
Kushalnagar rural police have registered the case.
