Mysuru: “Why has the SIT not detained Lokayukta Bhaskar Murthy. He has allowed his son Ashwin to run office at the Lokayukta office and thereby he has helped his son to involve in corruption”, said retired Justice Santhosh Hegde.
Speaking to reporters after interacting with students of First grade Government College in the city, on Monday, Justice said Bhaskar Rao should not divert the attention of the public. If he has any morality he should resign immediately. He should be arrested under 109 act of the constitution. “Why he is doing drama by taking long leave”, asked Hegde.
“It is true that Lokayukta is autonomous. But in Vidhana Sabha 70 politicians have not signed so that the case could be handed over to CBI. To cover up the scam few politicians and officials are involved”, he accused.
He also added that it is shameful that Lokayukta used to his residence and office for his son’s illegal business. He demanded for the government to reveal SIT probe.
