Kodagu: The District Congress workers on Friday April 8 staged a protest against State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra and BJP National leader C. T. Ravi.
Addressing the gathering District Congress President Dharmaja Uthappa condemned the statement issued by Minister and C. T. Ravi in Jagajivan Ram Nagara Chandru murder issue. He said that the leaders should reduce communal tension, and not fuel tension by issuing provocative statements.
They urged Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to dismiss Jnanendra from the post immediately. They also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.
