Kodagu: The Kodagu District Police have succeeded in detecting a case of illegal sale of a narcotic substance called MDMA (Methylenedioxy Methamphetamine) in Kushalanagara Rural Police Station limits in the District.
Acting on a tip-off that drugs were being sold near a bridge in Koodige Village in Kushalanagara Taluk on Wednesday March 29, a team comprising local police officers Deputy Superintendent of Police Gangadharappa R. V. Somwarpete Sub-Division, Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (CPI) Mahesh B. G., Kushalnagara Circle, Puneet D. S., Police Sub-Inspector (PSI), Dinesh Kumar M., Kushalanagara Rural Police Station and police personnel conducted a raid on March 29.
Mohammed Rafi and Rishi Kumar were arrested and 41 grams of MDMA, 13 grams of ganja, cash, mobile phones used in the crime and two two-wheelers were seized.
