Mysuru: In a dramatic moment witnessed by stunned tourists, a leopard chased down and killed a deer in the Nagarhole forest, near the scenic Kabini backwaters.
The wildcat appeared suddenly and, with astonishing speed, pounced on a deer, taking it down within seconds. The incident occurred in the buffer zone between the Kakanakote Safari Center and the core forest area.
The leopard then dragged its prey deep into the forest, right in front of a moving safari vehicle filled with tourists, offering a rare and raw glimpse into the predator’s world.
