Mysuru: A man in Mysuru lost all his valuables worth Rs 8 Lakh in the process of winning over a woman only to become a “sorcerer’s” victim.
Azmath Khan, aged 28, resident of Kakalawadi in K R Mohalla limits made a fool out of himself in trying to win over a divorcee in his neighbourhood through black magic. He sought help from Baba Kareem Khan alias Baba Kabir, a “sorcerer” in Nanjumalige to execute his plan since the woman of his dreams refused to be a reality. Baba Khan demanded precious metals including gold, silver, copper, bronze and few others in 250 gram quantities.
Promptly Ajmath Khan delivered the items to Baba Kabir on November 19. Baba Kabir faked a ritual in his place and handed over things wrapped in black cloth and asked Ajmath Khan to open it after 9 pm on November 20. But to his surprise, victim Ajmath Khan found all the valuables missing.
Finally victim Ajmath Khan lodged a complaint with the KR Puram Police. Team led by Inspector Prakash is on the lookout for Baba Khan who has escaped with the easy booty!

The fraudster Baba had also given an advertisement in a newspaper claiming to solve issues related to martial life, love marriages and also hypno-trapping the women of desire in just seven days. A lovelorn Azmath fell for the trap after reading this.
Versatile Fraudster
Investigations have also revealed that the Dhongi Baba is a versatile fraudster. Kabir had also rented a room in the first floor of a building at Nanjumalige with the help of a broker. Baba had also submitted fake voter ID and Pan Card copies to the landlord. This is nothing instead of paying the security deposit he had also swindled the landlord of Rs. 4000 before making away with all his loot!
