Gonikoppa: A king cobra weighing 7 kgs and more than 10 feet in length was captured by Sharath near Nadugundi close to Gonikoppa on January 24.
The serpent which appeared on the roof of the houses belonging to Tatira Devaiah and snake catcher Sharath was shown to the National Service Scheme (NSS) camp students of Attur Government Primary School and St. Anne’s school.
Students took a glimpse of the most venomous serpent on Indian soil before it was released into Makutta forest range of Western Ghats.
