Mandya: A headmistress of the Government High School in Ganangooru in the district here has allegedly undressed a girl from Class VII and beat her up.
The headmistress has been identified as Snehalatha. The incident has outraged the villagers and School Development and Management Committee members, and they have submitted a memorandum to Education Minister B. C. Nagesh through Tahasildar demanding action against her.
According to the villagers, the incident occurred on December 23, 2021. Following this the victim’s parents putforth the matter in front of the Block Education Officer, who made a visit to the school. Further, he submitted a report to DDPI, and no action was taken which has made villagers reach Minister through Tahasildar.
