Mandya: Independent candidate from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency Sumalatha Ambareesh has been up and about ever since the Lok Sabha pollings ended in the state. On Sunday, April 28, she attended her fans’ marriage, met an injured fan and visited her husband’s hometown among other things.
Sumalatha attended her fans’ wedding here today, and blessed the couple, after which she met another fan, who was seriously injured in a road accident, at his house and inquired about his health and consoled him.
She later visited her family diety Kalabhairaveshwara Temple, located in Chikkarasinakere, and offered a special puja, after which she met the villagers.
Continuing her meet-and-greet session, she also visited Doddarasinakere, the hometown of her husband actor/politician Late M H Ambareesh and conversed with the residents.
This is the second time, since the LS campaign ended, that she has visited the district.
