Mandya: Mysuru – Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, who was alerted by MLA C. S. Puttaraju’s protest, inspected the deteriorating Mandya – Melukote Road on Saturday December 10.
15 days ago, during a press conference on the occasion of Punithotsava celebrations, he had warned of a massive protest in front of MP Pratap Simha’s house if the road was not repaired as heavy trucks were plying on the Mandya – Melukote Road due to the work on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway.
MLA C. S. Puttaraju, who was alerted carefully, visited MP Pratapsimha along with officials on Saturday December 10 and inspected it.
During the process, MLA Puttaraju gave full information about the bad condition of roads and rural roads in Dudda Hobli including Dodda Byadahalli in Pandavapura. Trucks loaded with stones and mud were plying on the Bengaluru – Mysuru Highway.
The roads were damaged with potholes due to heavy vehicular traffic.
