Mandya: District In-Charge Minister K. Gopalaiah inspected parts of the Highway that was submerged under water last week.
Speaking to mediapersons during his visit, he said that more additional underpasses and subways on the Mysuru – Bengaluru Highway for pedestrians to cross would be sought. He expressed hope that the project would greatly benefit the people. A proposal in this regard will be submitted to the Centre after bringing the issue to the notice of both Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari,” he added.
Further, he added that the minor issues with regard to the service roads would be rectified.
