NSU holds ‘save constitution’ march with 200-meter-long tricolour

Bharathi Nagar: The students of Bharathi College of Education, in association with the National Students Union (NSU), held a ‘save constitution’ march and awareness on the Indian Constitution at the Maddur-Malavalli main road on Tuesday, March 3. They held the march by holding a 200-meter-long Indian flag.

Addressing the gathering, district Congress president C D Gangadhar said, “Several great souls have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. The Central government is trying to amend the Indian Constitution drafted by Dr B R Ambedkar, considered to be the world’s greatest constitution. We will not allow the Centre to do so.”

National president of the NSU Neeraj Kundan, secretary Surabhi, NSU state president Manjunath, MLC Madhu Madegowda and others were present.
