Mysuru: The state minister for food and civil supplies has set an example yet again by relishing footpath food today.
U T Khadar, accompanied by departmental staff during his visit to the city to take part in the Dasara- 2017 inaugural, headed straight to a small footpath outlet atop Chamundi Hills.
He took a plate of Idlis along with other routine accompaniments and enjoyed the breakfast of millions of the poor in the state.
Minister Khadar known for creating a buzz in one or the other form again drew wide appreciation from public for his simplicity as the video went viral.
An aged man seated next to Khadar too is unperturbed by the presence of minister beside him and also appears to enjoy his share of common man’s breakfast.
With Khadar taking the first step, the state government might contemplate opening its flagship food outlet Indira Canteen somewhere here in the vicinity in the near future for sure.
