Mysuru: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances after he visited a relative’s house seeking refund of loan amount for his daughter’s wedding.
Shivegowda, aged 55, resident of Bangarpet in Kolar district is the deceased.
The relatives of Shivegowda at Banaguppe, said he died due to electrocution at their house.
In his complaint Shivegowda’s son has stated that his father had lent Rs 3 lakhs to their relative named Geetha as Shivegowda was planning to get his daughter married off.
However, Gowda’s son has insisted that his father was strangled to death at Geetha’s house at Banaguppe in Hunsur Taluk when he refused to return without the loan amount.
The local police have taken Geetha for questioning and further investigations are on to assess the reason behind the death.
