Mysore: “A report on the alleged ATI scam speculated to be worth Rs 100 crore will be submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi” said the Mysore-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha on Wednesday October 29.
Addressing media persons at his office in Jaladarshini premises on Hunsur Road in city, he expressed deep concern at the October 15 assault on ATI DG V. Rashmi while she was there to pay her respect to deceased ATI Mess Manager Venkatesh.
It is unfortunate that senior officials like Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherji, who should have stood by a sincere officer like Rashmi during her hour of crisis, have resorted to issuing notice to her under pressure from vested interests, he rued.
Moreover Simha also added that he had opposed the Government move of former ATI DG Amita Prasad being deputed for services in a Central Government sponsored project.
The MP also expressed apprehension over the delay in investigation on the part of the State Government even after 15 days of the brutal assault on Rashmi, he said that he would take up the issue with Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala.
