Mysuru: Darshan Dhruvanarayan, who achieved a record victory in the Assembly elections, received the victory certificate and directly visited his native village Heggavadi where his father R. Dhruvanarayan and mother Veena were laid to rest and paid obeisance at their Samadhi.
Darshan was welcomed lovingly by the crowd. After winning the election, Darshan went to Heggavadi and returned to Nanjangudu Nagara. He was warmly welcomed by thousands of workers when he reached the Congress office on the road.
Speaking on this occasion, Darshan expressed his gratitude to the workers, this victory is due to all your hard work, and the victory of the people of Nanjanagudu, he said.
He added, “I will keep the love and trust of the people here till the end.”
