The land is located on both sides of the road leading to Chamundi Hill and spread over the Northern, Eastern and Western parts of Chamundi Hill and comes under Kurubarahalli Survey No. 4.

Later, the AC had sent a report recommending transfer of a total of 282.35 acres of land (green colour block measuring 132.37 acres and yellow colour block measuring 149.38 acres) of land to the Forest Department.

Acting on the AC’s report, the DC directed the transfer of the said land to Forest Department.
