Mysuru: Manchegowda (59), who was working as a Forest Motivator in the Social Forestry Division of Hunsuru Forest Department, passed away on Friday March 24 following a heart attack.
Manchegowda, a native of Manchegowdanahundi in Channapatna Taluk of Ramanagara District, who had been working on honorarium for the past 30 years, suffered a heart attack at home and was admitted to a private hospital in Hunsuru where he was rushed to Mysuru for further treatment.
He is survived by his wife and two children. ACFs Shivaram, Lakshmikanth, Nagaraj, RFO Rudresh and other staff participated in the funeral held at Manchegowdana Hundi.
