Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha has appealed to the people to reject the appeasement of Congressmen and the family politics of the JD (S) and vote for the BJP in the interest of development.

He was speaking at Devegowdanakoppalu ward in the Taluk seeking votes for BJP candidate and Former Minister C. H. Vijayshankar. “If the Congress comes to power, it will remove all the reservations given by the BJP and give it to the Muslim community,” he said. In the JD (S), the entire family is doing politics with crocodile tears in their eyes.

He said the people of the state are fed up with the two parties, and have decided that a double-engine Government should come back to power in the State.

“Construction of Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway at a cost of Rs 9,500 Crore has been initiated at a cost of Rs. 4,100 Crore, drinking water supply project from Cauvery River to 303 villages in the Taluk at a cost of Rs 285 Crore, drinking water supply project to Periyapattana Town and Kushalnagara at a cost of Rs. 110 Crore will be completed in 18 months.

C. H. Vijay Shankar needs to become an MLA as he is working hard to get licences for 26,000 tobacco growers and for this to succeed giving power is imperative. The construction of bhavans by the BJP Government will be done too and thus requested them to trust Vijay Shankar and give him the power, he noted.
