Ramesh Bhat receives Rotary’s Annual Vandana Award

Mangaluru: Eminent Kannada and Popular cine Artist Ramesh Bhat has been conferred with the Rotary Annual State Level prestigious “Vandana Award” at a function held on 03.05.2023 at Hotel Motimahal Mangalore. The award is conferred on him in recognition of his exemplary achievements and in appreciation of his invaluable contributions in the field of Kannada film industry. The award is jointly instituted by the Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and the Rotaract Club of Mangalore City.

Vice Chancellor Nitte University Dr Sateesh Kumar Bhandary graced the occasion as Chief Guest and congratulated him. He also lauded the community service rendered by the Rotary and recognizing the achievers and honouring them.

Chairman of the Award Selection Committee Dr DevdasRai in his introductory address revealed that the Annual Vandana Award is Conferred to exemplary achievers and is part of the club’s vocational service project. He Congratulated Ramesh Bhat on his unique achievements in the field of entertainment and the Sandalwood Film Industry. Rtn. S.S. Nayak introduced the awardee and presented his unique achievements.

Responding to the felicitations the awardee expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club and said that he deemed it a privilege and honour to accept the Award, which is very valuable among the awards he has won.

Pradeep Kulal presented the Monthly Report, Past President Rtn. Ramashesha Shetty, President Elect Rtn. Rajesh Shetty, District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Nikhil, Rotaract Club President Rtr.
