Mysuru: S. A. Ramadas, who was denied a ticket by the BJP, has said that he will not leave the party for any reason and retain the primary membership of the BJP till he breathes his last.

Addressing a press conference after holding a series of meetings with the leaders and workers of the constituency, he said, “We can stand as an independent and win. But is personal interest important? Is the interest of the country important? I asked myself. I have swallowed my pain in the interest of the country. He said, “I had accepted the unexpected development with equanimity,” he said.

I will not lose three-decade-long association with the party. I will remain in the party without losing the love and affection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the biggest challenge of my life. The question of my life. However, the Sangh Parivar has taught us to abide by the party’s interests and personal interests. I don’t want to go beyond that. For me, the MLA’s post is not important. The country and Modi are important,” he said.

“Why did I miss the ticket? I’m not going to analyse that,” he said that the party had made a policy during his visit to Delhi. “I kept quiet that I had to abide by the rules of the party. I am still committed to the party’s decision. I have decided to continue as an ordinary worker,” he said.

From the very beginning, I have considered the party as my mother. However, the party built from the grassroot level is in what position today. That means I have accepted party as mother no matter what the party is in. I will also abide by the party’s order,” he said.
Party candidate Srivatsa will file his nomination papers on April 20. I will be a part of it that day.
When asked about the BJP candidate Srivatsa’s victory, Ramadas replied that the people of the constituency will decide.
