Mysuru: “The people of the Constituency have seen the rule of two national parties. Give me a chance this time. I will solve the problems here which have not been resolved for the last two decades,” said JD (S) candidate K. V. Mallesh.
He was speaking after offering prayers at Ganapathi Temple in the City before filing his nomination papers as a candidate for K. R. Constituency on Tuesday April 17. Congress and BJP MLAs, who have enjoyed power in the constituency so far, have been making the same old promises in every election. In the State as well as in the country, other parties have created an atmosphere of unrest by sowing the seeds of communal hatred among the youth. Such parties are fatal, he said and appealed to the people to support the regional party JD (S).
He said that with Pancharatna project focused on the development of all, K. R. constituency will be modelled by well-equipped hospitals, hi-tech schools, shelter for the homeless, new path for the youth and women’s empowerment programmes.
