Mysuru: A Yoga enthusiast did pranayama in front of the City’s Kote Anjaneya Temple and saw the sun with his bare eyes for 42 minutes in the scorching sun. It is Yoga enthusiast Badari Narayan who has accomplished this. Taking up dangerous adventure bribgs him an unbridled excitement. He has surprised everyone by doing such a stunt. He is going to make a world record through this.
He has already made several records through Yoga, and now he is going to do this kind of adventure and also plans to set a world record.
Speaking to mediapersons, Badari Narayan said, “The inspiration for this adventure is my mother. Ratha Saptami day is my mother’s birthday. I dedicate this adventure to her. I pray that her health will be good this year. I am doing this adventure under the guidance of my Guru.”
Badari Narayan has so far performed Shirshsana Yogas at around 1,300 ancient sites. It also includes many ancient sites of Cambodia, Malaysia and India. Many organisations have honoured him with many awards including Link Award, Ashisht World Record, and Elite World Record among others
“Pranayama by looking at the sun with naked eyes is very dangerous. There are many benefits though. We call this process ‘sunray action’. This kind of action activates the back of our brain. In addition, Badari Narayan says that it is very useful for mental, physical and spiritual life and Vitamin D is supplied to our body by this action. But it is dangerous to see with naked eye at 12 noon,” he said. He requested the people that no one should take part in such an attempt. He informed that a world record attempt was made by doing trataka pranayama with bare eyes from 12 noon to 12:42 pm and he plans to send it for record.
