Mysuru: The Mandya Taluk election code of conduct (CoC) Chief of Mysuru South Graduates’ Constituency of Legislative Council polls has sent a detailed report to Mandya District model CoC Head and Chief Executive Officer of Mandya Zilla Panchayat about violation of CoC by State Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan.
The report stated that Ashwath Narayan visited Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) on May 16 ans participated in election campaign and discussion in a private college and other places with his party workers. The report said that prima facie it is confirmed that the minister violated election CoC.
The Mandya Congress party workers have filed a complaint with Mandya election officers in this regard. The election officials yet to take action against the Minister.
