Mysuru: A person has allegedly been killed by his cousin for smoking a cigarette from his pack in a bar reportedly at Alanahalli in City on the night of Friday February 11.
It is said that Pramod, his cousin Kiran, friends Rakesh and Mahesh were consuming liquor in a bar. Kiran took out a cigarette from the pack kept on the table. Enraged by this, Pramod abused him for not asking permission to take a cigarette.
Kiran threw out the cigarette. Pramod who had consumed heavy liquor stabbed Kiran and fled from the scene. The injured was shifted to a private hospital immediately. However, he succumbed to injuries on Saturday February 12, incidentally on the day of his first marriage anniversary.
Police arrested Mahesh and Rakesh and the search is on to nab prime accused Pramod. A case has been registered at Alanahalli Police Station.
