Mysuru: Former MP and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committe Working President R. Dhruvanarayan passed away. Following his death at Hullahalli Village in Nanjanagudu taluk, shops and establishments were closed voluntarily. This has led to a sad silence.

Congress Party Workers and R. Dhruvanarayan’s supporters observed silence in front of the portrait and paid tributes.

Traders and shops on Rajkumar Road, Mysuru Road, Nanjanagudu Road and Hura Road in Hullahalli have voluntarily closed their shops.

Chamunda Nayaka said, “Dhruvanarayan was a simple-minded politician. He never indulged in hate politics. He loved and trusted everyone. He was a guide to the youth. He was working hard to bring back Congress led Government The work he did when he was an MP and the pro-people schemes are still in the minds of the people. It’s hard to believe he’s not with us,” he said.
