Mysuru: Mysuu – Kodagu MP Pratap Simha said that work on the 10-lane National Highway between Mysuru and Bengaluru is nearing completion. The 23-km-stretch between Chennapattana and Ramanagara will be thrown open to the public before Gowri festival which falls on August 30.
After inspecting the civil works on Wednesday August 24 he said, “I had promised that this stretch would be ready by August 15 but due to various reasons it got delayed. One of the roads will be inaugurated on August 26 and the other on August 30. The remaining works will be completed before the festival.”
Simha said, “The 10-lane National Highway and development of Mandakalli Airport in Mysuru will be done duly. By next March, the expansion work of Mysuru Airport will also be taken up.”
