Mysuru: Swarm of bees attack students, staff

Mysuru: An incident took place at Maharaja Technical University in Tandavapura Village of Nanjangudu Taluk of Varuna Assembly Constituency in which more than ten people were seriously injured in bee attack on students and staff of the college.

Bees had hive in the college premises and all of a sudden attacked a student who was going towards class. The student is sting badly and under treatment. Other students and lecturers of the college were attacked by bees and more than a dozen were seriously injured.

Those who rescued the student were also attacked. The seriously injured students and staff were sent to Kadakola Hospital.

College Principal Krishna Gowda said that they have been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Mysuru for further treatment.
