Mysuru: Congress leader K Rahman Khan accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being egoistic, here on Wednesday, April 10.
Speaking to media, he said that PM Modi believes that he is above all the government and legal institutions.
Rahman said, “PM is very arrogant and egoistic. If we speak even a word against him, we are labeled as anti-nationals. He has no respect for our Constitution which is considered a model in the world.”
“If people with such qualities come to power once again, we can only imagine what will be the fate of our country”, he added.
Slamming PM Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for ordering the opposition to go to Pakistan he said, “Who is he to order us to go to Pakistan? Whoever comments against the BJP, they get to hear the same. Was it not PM Modi, who invited the then prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif for his swearing in ceremony? Has he not gone to Pakistan on Sharif’s invite?”
Alleging that PM Modi was using the success of the security operations post Pulwama attack in Balakot of Pakistan for political mileage, he said, “PM Modi is left with no other option but use the success of airstrikes and surgical strikes as his political tool. He knows that no development has taken place in the past five years.”
“By using it as a political tool, he is demoralising our security forces. Our security forces do not belong to AICC President Rahul Gandhi or PM Modi. They strive hard to protect our country”, he added.
Meanwhile, he also said that the confusions within Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government would be sorted out soon.
