Mysuru: A 33-year-old man drowned in Cauvery River while swimminh at Talakadu in the District on Tuesday January 18.
The deceased has been identified as Shanmukaswamy from Bengaluru. According to sources, Shanmukaswamy had come to see his pregnant wife to Talakadu. Shanmukaswamh got into the river for bathing while visiting with his family, and drowned due to turbulent water current.
Talakadu Police has registered a case.
