Mangaluru: Pipeline supplying water from Thumbe to Mangaluru City has been damaged near Adyarkatte, stated a release from Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner.
MCC had to begin repair work on wednesday November 3 night. Therefore,an emergency shutdown was in place at Thumbe for the work to be carried on, release further stated.
Owing to this, the water supply across Surathkal, Kottara Chowki, Pachanady, Panambur, Car Street, Kudroli, Bolur, Kodialbail and Hampankatta are affected, added the release.
