Bidar: A collaborative effort between the police and the forest department in Bidar district led to the arrest of three individuals involved in stealing sandalwood trees. These thefts had been reported across multiple police stations and the forest department.
The arrested individuals were found in possession of Rs 8,75,000 in cash, along with valuable assets, including a car valued at Rs 5 lakh, a bike worth Rs 45,000, a saw, and three mobile phones. District Superintendent of Police Chennabasavanna S.L. officially confirmed these seizures.
