Police Shoot Rowdy-Sheeter During Arrest in Shivamogga

In a tense confrontation in Shivamogga, police were forced to take decisive action when rowdy-sheeter Habeebullah, known as Ammu, attempted to attack officers during his arrest. The incident occurred in the Garuda Layout area as Thunga Nagar Police were apprehending him. Inspector KT Gururaj shot Habeebullah in the leg in self-defense as he threatened Officer Jayappa. Habeebullah, recently released from jail in July, had a history of criminal activity that led to heightened vigilance from law enforcement. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to ensure proper procedures were followed.
