Udupi — A tragic incident unfolded in Kelarkalabettu near Nejaru, where Swastik (16), a second PUC student, was found dead by suicide at his residence on July 27.
Swastik, the son of Jayanthi S, was a student at a private college in Udupi. According to sources, Jayanthi had gone to Nejaru to obtain a medical certificate for her daughter. Upon returning home, she discovered Swastik hanging in the hall.
The Malpe Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. The reason behind the suicide remains unknown.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and raised concerns about the emotional well-being of students.
