The Manipal Entrepreneurship Summit (MES) 2025, organized by MAHE and executed by E-Cell MIT, is set to take place from February 6 to 8. Now in its eighth edition, the summit aims to inspire innovation and foster entrepreneurial spirit among students under the theme ‘Fuelling Future Founders’.
The summit’s primary focus is to empower student entrepreneurs by offering mentorship, guidance, and access to a dynamic startup ecosystem, helping them turn ideas into thriving ventures.
Key Highlights of MES 2025:
The event will feature prominent entrepreneurs and business leaders, including the inauguration by Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani, founder of Thyrocare, and a keynote session by him on February 6. Ashneer Grover, a renowned figure in the startup world, will also engage with students in a fireside chat later that day.
Other significant events include an Influencers’ Conclave with Raj Shamani and Iqlipse Nova on February 8, and a Fireside Chat with Dinesh Pai, vice-president of Zerodha, on February 7. Panel discussions on DeepTech, HealthTech, Family Businesses, and InfoTech will offer insights from experts.
The Innovation Mela will showcase over 120 startups and innovations, providing an invaluable platform for entrepreneurs to network with mentors, investors, and industry leaders from firms like Leo Capital and Z3Partners.
Competitions and Specialized Events:
National-level competitions, such as Pitch Tank, Case Maze, and Reroute & Resurge, with a total prize pool of Rs 4 lac, will challenge students to showcase their entrepreneurial creativity.

Dr. H S Ballal, pro-chancellor of MAHE, and Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh, vice chancellor of MAHE, emphasized that MES 2025 is a vital platform to cultivate future entrepreneurs. Cdr Dr Anil Rana, director of MIT, described the summit as transformative, encouraging students to innovate and create ventures.
