Udupi: The Silver Jubilee logo of Guru Nityananda Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. was officially unveiled on Thursday at the Sri Bhagwan Nityananda Swami Mandir auditorium in Udupi.
B. Jayakar Shetty Indrali, President of the Udupi District Cooperative Union, unveiled the logo and praised the society’s remarkable success in winning public trust over the years. He revealed that the society has already secured prime land in the city to construct a modern building named Nityananda Sagar Soudha.
He also highlighted the Union’s new environmental initiative — a tree plantation drive aiming to plant 1 lakh trees in the district. So far, 41,000 saplings have been distributed.
Karunakar M. Shetty, CMD of V.K. Groups, inaugurated the event and extended his best wishes for the society’s continued progress and service to the people. The event was presided over by the Society’s President Suresh Shetty.
