Vijayapura: BJP MLA, Basangouda Patil Yatnal has demanded that the alleged financial scam which surfaced in the Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation (MVSTDC) should be handed over to CBI.
He said this is a very serious case and many influential involved in it, if CID probes this case then there are chances that it may be influenced by the elected representatives, hence this case should be handed over to CBI and he wrote a letter to state government’s chief secretary in this regard.
BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra has demanded that the CBI should take over the probe into the suicide case of the corporation employee, Chandrashekharan. He has also called for the resignation of Minister B Nagendra.
Vijayendra visited Chandrashekharan’s family and stated, “We give the government one week’s time to fulfill our two demands. If the demands are not met, we will hold protests across the state next week,” he said.
