Madikeri: Kavya Sanju, a native of Balaji Village near Gonicoppa secured first place in Mrs India Curvy World 2021 beauty competition held at Jaipur on Sunday October 3.
Kavya will now represent the country at the Mrs World Beauty competition which will be held in Bali, Indonesia in January 2022. More than 40 competitors participated in the competition in which 16 competitors were qualified for final rounds.
Speaking to NewsKarnataka she said, “one has to compete 12 rounds to get first place.” Kavya was married 16 years ago and she said that regular Yoga, gym exercise, answering correctly in interview and question and answer round is the reason to get first place. She said that she never expected first place in the competition and is delighted by the prize.
She said she was selected in Bengaluru round with over 70 participants which was held at Bengaluru Sheraton Brigade Hotel. She has also secured gold medal in psychology examination in post-graduation from University of Mysuru.
Kavya who was in jubilant mood told that the prize motivates her to do more social work as she has been working as a volunteer during this pandemic time.
