Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in association with Amritha Charitable Foundation is organizing a Free Medical Health Camp to commemorate World Health Day, on Sunday, April 7, 9.30 a.m. onwards to 1 p.m. at Sri Sudhindra Auditorium, Canara High School, Dongerkery, Mangaluru.
This Free Medical Health Camp Is Open to All the General Public
The Mangaluru Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was established on the 18 August 1971. The jurisdiction area of Mangaluru branch covers Dakshina Kannada district and Kasargod district, with around 1,000 members and more than 4,000 CA students registered in the branch.
Mangaluru branch is considered as one of the vibrant branches of the Institute for its all-round activities, such as, organising programmes like conferences, seminars, workshops, study circles etc for its members, students and general public, and also, conducting various other activities such as social activities, sports & games, health sessions, educational & industrial tours, career counselling programmes etc.
Mangaluru Branch of ICAI has been bagging the best performance awards almost every year in the recent past. Mangaluru branch celebrated its Golden Jubilee year during 2020-21. The Mangaluru branch of ICAI is having its own spacious premises, housing within it a spacious Air-Conditioned Auditorium, Air-Conditioned Computer Lab/Class rooms/Library/Reading room for students, a Board Room, ample parking space and other amenities, near Kanchana Hyundai Showroom, Padil, Mangaluru – 575007.
Amritha Charitable Foundation is an 80G recognised Trust from the Income Tax Department, having its office at Amritha Multi Speciality Clinic, Attavar, Mangaluru engaged in the field of Charity i.e., Health care, Medical Aid, Old age care, Education etc. Sri D. Vikram Pai is the President, Dr D. Narasimha Pai, Head Cardiologist at KMC is the Secretary, Dr D. Shivananda Pai, Neurologist at KMC is also a Trustee in this Trust.
The Health Camp will have free consultation in the field of Cardiology, Neurology & Ophthalmology.
Complimentary services like Blood Glucose (Sugar) Test, Lipid Profile, ECG etc. will be provided.
