Mangaluru – In a blatant breach of traffic regulations, four youths were spotted riding a single scooter within city limits, putting their safety and that of others at risk.
The incident occurred on July 8, when the sub-inspector of Mangaluru City Traffic East Police Station swiftly stopped the vehicle after noticing the violation.
The young riders were counselled on the dangers of overcrowding on two-wheelers and the potential for serious accidents. Authorities then imposed a fine of ₹2,500 for violating traffic safety norms.
Mangaluru Police have once again appealed to citizens to follow traffic rules diligently, emphasizing that safety on the roads begins with responsible behaviour by all.
