Mangaluru: Guduchi Ayurveda has opened a new branch in Mangaluru following what it describes as growing demand from the city, extending its presence in coastal Karnataka after establishing a centre in Udupi.
The new Mangaluru centre was discussed in a recent episode of Walkie Talkie, hosted by Walter Nandalike, featuring Dr Deeksha Shetty, an Ayurvedic physician associated with Guduchi.

Speaking about the new centre, Dr Deeksha Shetty explained that the decision to expand to Mangaluru was driven by public demand following the response received in Udupi.
The discussion also focused on diabetes management and Guduchi’s Diabetes Reversal Programme, which the organisation says combines diet and lifestyle changes with Ayurvedic medicines and regular guidance.
Guduchi’s official website lists Dr Deeksha Shetty as a BAMS, MD (Ayu) Ayurvedic Physician associated with its Udupi centre.
Diabetes management takes centre stage
During the programme, Dr Shetty discussed the importance of food and lifestyle in managing blood sugar levels and explained Guduchi’s approach to diabetes care. The episode also featured patient experiences and testimonials as part of the discussion.
Guduchi describes its programme as focusing on personalised Ayurvedic care, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, health assessments and ongoing monitoring. The organisation also states that patients should continue prescribed medication initially and that any reduction should take place under medical supervision.
