In a nail-biting finish at the Shree Vibudhesha Tirtha Swamiji Indoor Stadium in Udupi, Mangalore University clinched the All India Inter-University Men’s Kho-Kho Championship, edging out Mumbai University with a razor-thin 11-10 victory.
The tournament, hosted by Poorna Prajna College in collaboration with Mangalore University’s Department of Physical Education, featured 16 top university teams from across India. The grand finale was a showdown between two teams that had shared the third spot in the previous edition — but this year, Mangalore University rose to the top with a cohesive and spirited performance.
