Mangaluru: The upcoming monsoon session of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly will take place from August 11 to 22, announced Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader at a press conference in Mangaluru.
The proceedings will officially commence at 11 AM on August 11, with a total of 12 working days currently scheduled.
Khader stated that a meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Opposition leaders, and senior legislators will be held next week to explore the possibility of extending the session and finalizing the agenda.
“This will be an important session, and we are expecting significant discussions. A committee meeting is also planned to outline the topics and structure of the proceedings,” he added.
With political activity heating up across Karnataka, this monsoon session is expected to serve as a key platform for debates, policy decisions, and political positioning by both the ruling party and the opposition.
